I was very fortunate to be the Sets Shading lead on the new Pixar animated movie 'Turning Red'. I managed a very talented team of 11 Shading TD's to help create the sets for this beautiful, funny film. Some of the shading work I did is shown below

The procedural concrete damage was driven by a set of textures I generated in Substance Designer with increasing levels of damage. By painting masks and using noises in the shader we could place damage in specific areas of a shot or let it appear randomly
